With Leeds United so close to a Premier League return, there is a feel-good factor around the club.
After the lows of losing to Southampton in a play-off final, Leeds could finally find themselves back in the Premier League.
The owners are making their approach evident as there seems to be no rest as the 49ers have a ‘Premier League plan’ ready.
Their pre-planning is good to see, as Paraag Marathe and the hierarchy are making all the right moves.
Not only are they doing this behind the scenes, but they also gave something back to the fans following last week’s triumph over Preston.

What owner Pete Lowy did for Leeds United fans after Preston win
Everyone is pulling in the right direction, and the fans are fully behind it.
Despite an uncertain few weeks for the Whites boss, it seems to be back on track after Leeds fans suggested Daniel Farke had limited time.
This just shows the difference a couple of wins make, as Farke is now seemingly being hailed as a hero.
Someone else who would’ve been a hero after Leeds’ 2-1 win vs Preston was co-owner Pete Lowy, who treated the Whites supporters.
According to the Yorkshire Evening Post, Lowy decided to put on a free bar in local pub, Billy’s, to thank the fans for the atmosphere.

Leeds have the feel-good factor back at Elland Road
The 49ers’ impact on the club is there for all to see, and Leeds’ brilliant season in the Championship should give Marathe and co some plaudits.
| Position | Team | Played MP | Won W | Drawn D | Lost L | For GF | Against GA | Diff GD | Points Pts |
| 1 | 42 | 25 | 13 | 4 | 82 | 29 | 53 | 88 | |
| 2 | 42 | 24 | 16 | 2 | 57 | 13 | 44 | 88 | |
| 3 | 42 | 26 | 7 | 9 | 57 | 33 | 24 | 83 |
It’s no doubt been a whirlwind season but the objective they set out to do is looking promising and Marathe can keep Farke long-term as aforementioned.
But the overall feel around the club is what really stands out, and the 49ers’ plans to extend Elland Road have been met with a warm reception.
Just by listing the plans ahead, it proves that Leeds are running like a proper football club once more and completely blows past owners out of the water, such as Andrea Radrizzani.
It’s good times at Leeds, but there is still a job to be done.
