Leeds United took a massive step to Premier League promotion on Monday night after a late comeback against Sheffield United.
It was a fantastic second-half performance from Daniel Farke’s side as the Leeds boss watched on from the gantry.
Jermaine Beckford hailed Wilfried Gnonto after the Italian’s impact off the bench turned the game on its head.
The three goalscorers for Leeds spared Illan Meslier’s blushes, as Joel Piroe just can’t stop finding the net at the moment.
It was another game left late, but it proved so worth it as Leeds sent a cheeky dig to the Blades fanbase.

Leeds United send Jayden Bogle dig to Sheffield United after 3-1 win
Despite the defeat, Chris Wilder said nothing was decided in terms of the promotion race even though Farke’s side now have a strong five-point gap at the top of the Championship.
It seemed Wilder was humble in defeat, but didn’t comment on Jayden Bogle’s return to Sheffield United.
Bogle faced his old employers for the first time at Bramall Lane and it’s safe to say he didn’t get the warmest of welcomes.
This lead to Leeds’ social media team coming up with a cheeky two-word post on X after Blades fans made sure to boo the full-back at every opportunity during the encounter.

How Bogle fared for Leeds against former club Sheffield United
It wasn’t a surprise that the 24-year-old got heckled throughout the game, as making the jump between Yorkshire rivals is a bold move.
Wilder praised Leeds as a ‘top side’ and that showed throughout the second 45 minutes as the Blades were completely dismantled.
However, Bogle did struggle on his return to the Steel City, as it was a rare poor showing from the right back.
| Bogle’s statistics in Sheffield United 1-3 Leeds United | |
| Minutes played | 89 |
| Passing accuracy % | 63% |
| Crossing accuracy % | 0% (0/3) |
| Dispossessed | 1 |
| Duels lost | 3 |
Maybe it got all too much for Bogle, but he won’t care one bit after Leeds triumphed.
To have Ethan Ampadu’s ‘rallying cry’ on the pitch of his former employers would’ve been enough for Bogle to leave Bramall Lane happy, especially after the Blades faithful made it an uncomfortable night for the full-back.
