Leeds United head to Molineux this Saturday for a huge Premier League clash with Wolverhampton Wanderers, but with the fans concerned about goals.
Daniel Farke’s side have kept two clean sheets and Leeds United almost had a third were it not for a late goal against Fulham. It has applied a little more pressure to the Wolves fixture instead.
A struggling Wolves side are handing Vitor Pereira a new deal and Opta believe Wolverhampton Wanderers will beat Leeds this weekend. It’s not a must-win but they also cannot afford to lose.
Despite their defensive solidity, Leeds have had the fewest shots on target in the Premier League and it’s why Leeds fans are worried about goals against Wolves. However, they also appear to have found a solution to that problem.

Leeds United supporters want Harry Gray in the first-team
The fact Harry Gray scored a hat-trick against Scunthorpe United last night has not gone unnoticed. Gray’s feat caught the eye alongside Jonny Howson at Glanford Park.
It saw Leeds fans taking to Twitter/X to praise him but also posit the idea that he could be a short and long-term solution for Farke this weekend and beyond, including calling Gray the ‘answer’.
Leeds fans seem to be agreeing, with another adding: “Give him a chance in first team up front as I can’t see where the goals are gonna come from #ALAW #MOT”
Another stated: “genuinely might end up the case if we don’t score enough Gray is gonna end up being the no.9 for us.”
A further quote read: “Don’t say it, don’t say it. should be our number 9 in the Premier League. I said it.”
It’s a consistent message, with it added: “Got to be thinking about involving Harry in the first team.”

The two Leeds problems with Harry Gray right now
Finlay Gorman and Oliver Boast were two of the other shining lights of Leeds’ academy, which is why Leeds will be desperate to retain Harry’s services far longer than they managed to with Archie.
Graeme Bailey is confident Gray will pen professional Leeds terms soon, given that Harry is the latest part of the Gray family dynasty. He has a reputation to uphold in that sense but Leeds’ immediate concern is to ensure they keep him.
Leeds’ academy has declined in recent years but Gray is absolutely killing it. In seven games for the U-21 team, the 16-year-old has seven goals and two assists already. Development is their second concern, in order to keep Gray content and happy with his football.
As shown with the above, it’s such an array of different types of goal. However, he needs to be developed carefully and with long-term consideration. They should not thrust him in too early, especially with confidence growing as he nurtures with the U-21s.
