Leeds United fans have delivered their verdict on new signing Noah Okafor after the club confirmed the arrival of the Swiss star from AC Milan.
Noah Okafor has officially become Leeds United’s ninth signing of a busy summer transfer window as they look to secure their place in the Premier League.
Daniel Farke has spoken openly about the need to strengthen Leeds’ attack after the club missed out on their protracted pursuit of Igor Paixao, and Okafor will add a new threat on the flanks for Leeds.
Okafor can play across the forward line and impressed during the Whites’ pre-season draw against AC Milan in Dublin.
Now, Leeds fans have flocked to social media to share their response to the announcement, as Leeds have landed a marquee signing.

Posting on the social media site X (formerly Twitter) in the immediate aftermath of the Okafor announcement, fans were quick to share their delight at the news.
One fan declared their support for the deal in a post that said: “Aw man, I actually love this one. A couple more like this, Leeds.”
Another compared the arrival of Okafor to the deal that brought former fan favourite Raphinha to Elland Road in 2020, stating: “Brilliant. Okafor will be our Raphinha signing if he can keep his legs intact. Not as good, but we’ve a better team overall, so that matters more. Excited!”
In a bold prediction, one fan suggested that Okafor would be finding the net regularly in the Premier League, as they wrote: “Our top scorer this season. Mark my words.”
Although one fan was glad to see Okafor join the club, they believe Leeds still have more work to do in the transfer window, arguing: “Building blocks falling into place. Give me a creative midfielder, a striker and a full back, and we are looking good.”
Okafor’s pre-season performance against Leeds won over another fan, who posted: “Really pleased. He’s seriously direct, quick and skilful, good pre-season behind him (including an audition against us). Not done there (fingers crossed)”
Finally, one fan allowed themselves to be carried away with the deal, making a prediction all Leeds fans would love to see come true, stating: “I know he only scored one goal last season, but he’s winning the golden boot and we are going unbeaten. YOU WHITES”
Future Leeds move was not on Okafor’s mind in pre-season game
Speaking in his first interview as a Leeds player, Okafor opened up on the experience of facing his former club a matter of weeks before completing his move to West Yorkshire.
According to Okafor, his potential future transfer to Elland Road was not on his mind during the game, as he focused on delivering the best possible performance for his former club.
Okafor said: “I didn’t think about it [his potential transfer]. I don’t care if it’s a friendly game or a league game, I just always try to give my best and then everything I think happened for a reason.”
Having impressed on the opposing side, Leeds fans will hope that Okafor can deliver similar performances regularly in their famous white shirt from now on.
