Leeds United co-owner makes fresh demand to the players ahead of title showdown with Burnley

It’s now or never in the title race, as despite promotion, Daniel Farke wants the real prize at Leeds United.

There has been much anticipation, but the final day of the Championship has arrived.

Both Leeds and Burnley have had excellent seasons, but it’s Farke’s Whites who lead the line, with their goal difference playing the major part.

Leeds United co-owner Larry Nance Jr sends message to players

Both players and manager will want the title more than anyone, and that’s been made incredibly clear.

Parker will be aware of the mentality in the Whites camp, as Ethan Ampadu warned Burnley that Leeds want the title.

It could go either way, but looking at Leeds’ last five results, a game against an already relegated Plymouth side should come as easy work.

Despite Plymouth’s struggles, manager Miron Muslic wants to ruin Leeds’ title, but co-owner Larry Nance Jr’s message gives inspiration on why that can’t happen.

Speaking to The Square Ball, Nance Jr brought up the fans’ dismay of missing the 2020 league title under Marcelo Bielsa, and has used that to inspire the players.

“The job is not done. The job is not done,” Nance Jr said.

“I want the trophy, because they didn’t get to do it last time.

“You didn’t get to do it over COVID. Go do it.”

Leeds’ fixure favours them over Burnley on last day

There will many ways you could see this race, but it’s fair to say both teams have been nothing short of excellent.

It’s clear that the Clarets have appreciation for Leeds and vice versa, as Parker finds Leeds ‘really exciting’.

Well it is Leeds who have the advantage going into the last day, as looking at both fixtures, on paper you favour Farke’s side.

Millwall themselves are on the verge of the playoffs so they won’t be settling down, and Leeds have no excuses against a relegated side.

It’s all to play for, but Nance Jr’s message should be engrained into the player’s minds.
