Leeds United picked up all three points against Swansea City in the Championship on Sunday, but there was a cause for concern.
It was a hugely exciting game that Leeds deservedly won, thanks to Wilfried Gnonto’s late winner.
While Leeds fans will be delighted with the three points, they must also note that Daniel Farke’s side conceded three goals.
For a team aiming to win automatic promotion to the Premier League, they simply cannot afford to let in three goals in a single game. If Leeds are to finish in the Championship top two, then they have to be tighter at the back.

Leeds were defensively poor against Swansea, and that was clear in the third goal that the Whites conceded in the 90th minute.
A low ball into the box from the left found substitute Florian Bianchini. He found the back of the net with a powerful effort at the near post.

Joe Rodon was not happy with Leeds teammate Illan Meslier
Jon Newsome was following the match for BBC Radio Leeds, and the former Leeds defender noticed that Joe Rodon was having a go at Illan Meslier after the goal.
The BBC Radio Leeds pundit believes that Rodon himself should have done better for the goal and should have found a way to stop the ball from coming into the box.
Newsome said on BBC Radio Leeds: “I know Joe Rodon had a bit of a dig at Meslier, thinking he should have come for it. I just think he is passing blame there, Joe Rodon.
“I think you know that your man has got the wrong side of you and you should have dealt with it. He should have dealt with it, and it’s what you do as defenders. You blame everybody else but yourself, don’t you? But I also think that you have got to stop that at the source. You have got to stop that ball coming in.
“For me, as a centre-back, you have got to be screaming at your Bogles, you have got to be screaming at Aaronson who was on the right-hand side at that time. You have got to work harder to stop the cross.”
How Joe Rodon and Illan Meslier fared against Swansea
Meslier has not been great for Leeds on occasions, and while you cannot blame him for all the goals that the Whites conceded against Swansea, it seems that the goalkeeper is letting in from every shot he is facing.
The Frenchman does need to be more assertive in his area. Karl Darlow is doing well for Wales, and maybe, just maybe, Farke could turn to him soon.

Rodon has established himself as a rock at the back for Leeds, but, like the other defenders in his team, he did not cover himself with glory against Swansea.
After all, the Wales international was part of a defensive unit that conceded three goals.
Rodon made six clearances, blocked one shot, won four headers, and lost possession six times. The former Tottenham Hotspur defender made one key pass.
