Daniel Farke is now hopeful Leeds United can keep Luis Sinisterra but insists there are no ‘guarantees’ in football.
Farke was speaking in his pre-match press conference ahead of Leeds’ trip to Ipswich Town on Saturday, with Sinisterra’s future among the key topics covered.
The Whites boss confirmed Sinisterra will be back in the squad for the match on Saturday, with the issues surrounding some legalities in his contract now firmly behind him.
It is said that the release clause in Sinisterra’s contract that became active upon relegation has now expired, though that does not mean he will definitely stay.
As per Football Transfers, Everton have identified him as a potential alternative to Wilfried Gnonto after reaching a stalemate in their pursuit of the Leeds winger.
Farke speaks on chances of Leeds keeping Sinisterra
Farke says he is sees Sinisterra as a crucial part of his plans but at the same time, admitted there is no guarantee he will definitely stay.
He said: “I am convinced we need his quality. He’s a fantastic player. In this football world, I will not guarantee anything. Tomorrow there could be a £200m offer from Saudi Arabia, but we do need him to fulfil our ambitions.”
Like Leeds have done with Gnonto, they should now do all they can to keep a player of Sinisterra’s quality given how important Farke sees him as part of their plans.

Keeping Sinisterra, Gnonto and Crysencio Summerville can only enhance Leeds’ chances of success this season.
