Everton have identified Leeds United winger Luis Sinisterra as a potential alternative to Wilfried Gnonto.
That is according to Football Transfers, who report Everton are now in the process of looking at other targets with Sinisterra said to be among them.
As per the same outlet, Everton’s pursuit of Gnonto appears to be all but over after reaching a stalemate in talks with Leeds.
The two clubs once again held discussions earlier this week with Leeds reaffirming their stance he is not for sale, with that now ‘likely to be it’ for their interest in the 19-year-old.
Gnonto, of course, returned to training at Leeds on Tuesday having held talks with Daniel Farke and Angus Kinnear following his transfer request at the end of last week.

Everton have already signed one winger from Leeds this summer, with Jack Harrison having joined on a season-long-loan earlier this month.
In fact, the Toffees have practically been linked with every Leeds wide man at some point over the course of the window, with Crysencio Summerville reported to be a target by the Telegraph back in June.
However, it now appears as though they will be switching their attention towards Sinisterra, whose future at Elland Road is uncertain.
Like Gnonto, Sinisterra has been training away from the rest of the first team squad and has also missed the last two league matches.
Farke claimed last week his head was not in the right place to be selected and so clearly a move away is a possibility.
