The relegation release clauses of both Tyler Adams and Luis Sinisterra have now both ran out in a huge boost for Leeds United.
That is according to Phil Hay of the Athletic, who says the ‘flow of unpreventable exits might be over’ with both clauses having expired this week.
Adams had twice appeared to be on the verge of an exit from Elland Road in the last week, with Chelsea the first club to have triggered it last week.
The 24-year-old travelled down to London and underwent a medical before Chelsea pulled the plug at the 11th hour to pursue deals for Moises Caicedo and Romeo Lavia instead.
As per Fabrizio Romano, Bournemouth were then the next team to agree to meet his release clause on Monday, but Adams was back training at Thorp Arch yesterday, which would indicate a deal has not progressed as expected.

Sinisterra, meanwhile, remains the subject of interest from both Nice and Feyenoord according to Sky Sports, though they will now have to negotiate with Leeds in order to strike a deal.
That said, Sinisterra is currently training away from the rest of the first team squad at Leeds with Daniel Farke claiming he is not in the right headspace to be with the rest of the squad.
Farke claimed there are some ‘legal questions’ surrounding the exit clauses in his contract, which Leeds want clarifying before he is brought back into the fold.
What is certain now, however, is that these ridiculous loan clauses are now behind Leeds and if they were still to move on, the Whites can get somewhere closer to their proper market value, with Sinisterra having been signed for £21 million last summer.
This latest update is huge for Leeds and would explain why Farke claimed in his press conference the club are now in the driving seat regarding player exits.
