Daniel Farke went straight down the tunnel after Rotherham United’s equaliser against Leeds United last night.
Leeds spent the entirety of the first half in control of possession at the New York Stadium but a string of errors in first half stoppage time allowed Hakeem Odoffin to level the score.
Speaking live on air after the half-time whistle, Sky Sports commentator David Stowell revealed that Farke went down the tunnel immediately after the ball hit the back of the net.
Farke will have been undoubtedly left frustrated at how Leeds managed to allow Rotherham a way back into a game where they were completely clueless in possession for much of it.
Leeds had taken the lead through Crysencio Summerville inside just six minutes and had chances to make it 2-0, even if they were a little slow and casual on the ball at times.
Leeds only have themselves to blame
Farke’s frustration at the manner of Rotherham’s goal was clear to see by the fact Stowell saw him go straight to the dressing room before the whistle had even been blown.
He said: “Daniel Farke headed straight down the tunnel the minute that goal went in. Frustrated to see his Leeds United side pegged back, who had been in control of the game in possession.”

Even if Leeds should’ve had a penalty on Dan James in the second half, they only have themselves to blame for not coming away with three points.
At least half the team were involved in some capacity at allowing Rotherham to come back into the game, and Leeds never really recovered to take back control of the game.
Given the clear frustration of Farke, you would’ve expected Leeds to come racing out of the blocks after the break, which it just never materialised.
