Crysencio Summerville has been in stunning form for Leeds United this season, and it will come as no surprise that Premier League clubs want him. David Prutton has discussed his future, in January.
Summerville, 22, has arguably been the best player in the Championship this term – though the likes of Conor Chaplin, Georginio Rutter and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall may argue that. 18 goals and assists, so far.
Brighton have asked about Summerville. Newcastle have sent scouts and are considering a move, while Aston Villa are also said to be interested. It is claimed that Summerville is still focusing on staying put.
Former Leeds man Prutton has discussed Summerville and the chances he leaves in January, with so many clubs said to be taking a look. He urged Leeds to keep him, but if he is to go, get the right price.
“There will also be an element of interest in Leeds’ players given attack-wise what we have seen from them, Crysencio Summerville given the interest in him prior to anything really happening this season.
“If you are Leeds, then you keep half an eye on that and if he goes then you get the right price for him but you fight tooth and nail to keep him,” Prutton said, in his column with the Yorkshire Evening Post.

Summerville has been sensational and if Leeds are going to do anything in terms of promotion this season, then keeping the Dutchman is crucial. Leeds simply have to keep the attacker at Elland Road.
Losing him would see Leeds rake in £30m, or north – probably. Plenty of cash to reinvest. But right now, Leeds would rather have Summerville than a whole heap of cash that they may struggle to reinvest.
