Leeds United have a history with a recent announcement which has been confirmed for the Whites’ FA Cup fourth-round tie against Millwall.
Daniel Farke will be hoping his side can take their league form into the FA Cup.
A grueling clash awaits tomorrow lunchtime as Leeds face Championship rivals Millwall for a place in the fifth round.
Millwall boss Alex Neil said Leeds are ‘talented’ as his side who sit 14th in the league could have a tricky afternoon.
The FA has now announced some information which Leeds fans may not like.

Gavin Ward will be the referee for Leeds vs Millwall in the FA Cup
As the Whites will fancy the prospect of an FA Cup run, Farke will need Piroe to be more consistent as their no.9 could prove vital in making a run happen.
This will be the two sides’ second meeting of the season, as Leeds will be looking for revenge after Millwall pipped the Whites to a 1-0 victory courtesy of a Japhet Tanganga goal at the Den.
Now, the officials have been confirmed, as referee Gavin Ward will take the officiating role in a fixture which could set off fireworks.
This will be Ward’s third Leeds fixture this season having previously reffed the Whites’ two victories against Hull City in August and Coventry City in September.
However, Leeds fans might remember a controversial decision that Ward made in 2019.

Ward controversially sent off Pontus Jansson for Leeds United in 2019
Leeds faced Stoke City in January 2019 with Marcelo Bielsa’s side doing well in the Championship, but Ward made a controversial decision that put a stop to that.
Pontus Jansson was issued a second yellow card after 76 minutes at the bet365 Stadium as Leeds were trailing 1-0, as he collided with Potters forward at the time Benik Afobe, who was going through on goal.
Jansson stumbled, but Afobe continued toward goal, where Bailey Peacock-Farrell was able to claim the ball after a heavy touch.
However, Ward wasn’t happy with the initial collision despite Afobe staying on his feet as called play back to issue Jansson with his second yellow card after he was booked for dissent in the first half.
There was plenty of confusion as to why Jansson was given his marching orders, as many were unsure if it was for a foul or a handball when Jansson fell to the ground.
It was later confirmed that it was for a handball, as former Leeds defender Danny Mills dubbed it a ‘Ridiculous decision’ on Sky Sports News in 2019.
Leeds should’ve had a penalty at Coventry, and the bad decisions may continue when the Whites meet Millwall with Ward in charge.
