Calvert-Lewin is currently enjoying his best goal-scoring run since 2020, having found the net in four consecutive Premier League games for only the second time in his career.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin challenged to score 20 goals for Leeds United
Speaking on NBC Sports after Leeds’ draw against Brentford, former Premier League player Robbie Earle praised Calvert-Lewin for his strong run of form.
According to Earle, the England international should now be targeting 20 goals for the season, having taken his tally to five for Leeds.
Earle said: “I saw a really interesting interview with him this week where he talked about at Everton, he’s always seen as the younger player, and they had a lot of experience around him.
“This season, he’s almost become one of the veterans, one of the leaders, and he’s enjoying that role. Four goals in his last four now. And a fit Dominic Calvert-Lewin can get you 15 to 20 goals. That’s the capacity.
“We haven’t seen that for a while, and I know it’s a long time since he did that, but if he can get momentum, if they can get the service, as you said, they’ve got a goalscorer, and that’s absolutely key in the fight against relegation.”

This is the best goals per game ratio that he has achieved at any point in his career, surpassing his best seasons with the Toffees, which saw him earn his international call-up.
