Daniel Farke’s side were left disappointed by a late equaliser for Bournemouth in the 2-2 draw with Leeds United at Elland Road.
Leeds United remain unbeaten at Elland Road but it is yet another game of dropped points deep into stoppage time, following the last-gasp loss to Fulham at Craven Cottage a couple of weeks ago.

Some Leeds players were excellent against Bournemouth, with Sean Longstaff and Gabriel Gudmundsson stealing the show. Leeds fans are falling in love with Longstaff by the game, but especially so after his goal and assist.
Brenden Aaronson was well received vs Bournemouth for a much-improved display for Leeds. However, USA compatriot Tyler Adams did not receive a warm reception against Leeds back at Elland Road.

Daniel Farke identifies his two major concerns after Leeds 2-2 Bournemouth
Iraola was particularly impressed by Longstaff, with the 27-year-old winning the midfield battle but also contributing to vital goals. Leeds had the much better of the match in general, with more shots and xG generated.
It was far from a perfect performance, though. Jermaine Beckford loved Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s performance against Bournemouth, for example, but he was also guilty of missing some huge chances.
Farke was left rueing those, with the German identifying two ways in which his Leeds team must now improve. Beren Cross of The Athletic spoke to Farke post-match for his thoughts.
He said: “Valuable and a good point. If you concede that late, deserving to win, it doesn’t feel great, but from Monday on, we move on to make sure we deliver that performance again. Another 19 shots. One team missing big chances: us.”
The primary concern pertains to the latter comment, with Leeds — and indeed Calvert-Lewin — missing the biggest chances of the match. They could have been out of sight on another day but did not kill the game off.
Per Cross, Farke outlined the other problem Leeds are currently encountering. He and Leeds need to also improve in their own box, with Farke detailing exactly why.
He said: “Organisation, desire to block passes. Details. Unnecessary sloppy touch to give away late free-kick. Dropped too deep on free-kick and didn’t drop for second ball. Heartbreaking. This is what happens at the top level. Teams punish very little.”
Again, the latter is the concern because Premier League forwards can often punish you with a half-chance. It makes game management improving absolutely imperative.
Those are valid concerns, while Farke will also be fearing the worst after Leeds’ Noah Okafor limped off against Bournemouth, too.

Farke wants continued backing of Leeds supporters
Not only did Farke explain his two major concerns and where improvement is needed for his team, but he has also requested something of the Leeds supporters as well.
He said: “In three home games, struggling to think of chances for the opponent. We’ve shown we always have a chance to fight at home for the points. In this atmosphere, it is difficult for the opponent. Everyone is fighting for everything and we have unity with the supporters.”
He praised the atmosphere but doubled down on the need for unity, with the fans often being the 12th man. It’s unclear how fruitful Leeds will be able to be on their travels, making home comforts all the more vital.
