Harry Gray has had an incredible week and a bit with Leeds United as the dynasty continues.

It was a brilliant moment to see Gray make his Leeds debut at Elland Road as promotion was almost secured.

Eddie Gray was in tears at Harry’s debut in a wonderful moment for the famous Leeds family.

Following on from brother Archie will be a tough task to emulate, but the 16-year-old has all the attributes to do so.

Keen-eyed Leeds fans spotted Harry’s confidence, but Daniel Farke wasn’t too impressed with this side of his character during the promotion celebrations.

Daniel Farke held stern chat with Harry Gray at Leeds United

Things got better for the young striker recently as Leeds’ U21s won the National League Cup.

Gray scored the pivotal second goal to make the academy the first team ever to take the trophy.

This will have no doubt increased a confident Gray already, as he showed his confidence to the fullest after the Whites secured promotion back to the Premier League.

Already this week, Gray was humbled being sent back to Leeds’ bench, but this will become a rare thing in the future.

However, Farke joined in with bringing the youngster back down to earth, as he had a stern conversation with the youngster mentioning his brother who is shining for Tottenham in the top flight.

“I would strongly recommend calming down, just because his last name is Gray doesn’t mean he’ll compete in the Premier League,” Farke said.

“He has confidence. I had a chat with him and told him ‘Harry, listen, great how you celebrated, but don’t get the feeling that you have won the title all alone, relax a little bit.”

“We like his potential and professionalism, and how humble he is, with a few exceptions.”

Gray still has a lot to learn at Leeds after stern chat with Farke

Farke’s message to the youngster is basically saying just steady yourself a bit, as at 16-years of age it will doubt feel very overwhelming.

Sometimes youngsters can’t cope, but the signs are looking positive with Gray, but he no doubt needs to learn some lessons in the professional game.

Gray wants Premier League game time, but after Farke’s comments on the youngster it’s clear he wants him to stay grounded.

It might take Farke to bring in an experienced striker to show him the way, unless Patrick Bamford stays to help him, but you can tell Farke is the right man to nurture young Gray.
