Daniel Farke has issued an injury update on his Leeds United squad as he prepares his team for a second match in the space of four days, against Watford at Elland Road on Tuesday night.
Leeds come into the game after beating Sheffield United at Elland Road on Friday night. Goals from Mateo Joseph and Pascal Struijk got the job done, taking Leeds to third in the Championship table.
The Whites will definitely be without Ethan Ampadu, Ilia Gruev and Max Wober with all three nursing their knee injuries. Gruev and Wober have undergone surgery, though Wober is said to be ahead of schedule.
That lack of cover in midfield and defence has led to Daniel Farke considering a move to sign a free agent in due course. Reports on Monday suggest that Farke is preferring a move for Josuha Guilavogui.

Daniel Farke delivers injury update on Leeds squad for Watford
It is good news from the Leeds manager. Even with Tony Dorigo noticing Wilfried Gnonto had picked up a knock to his shoulder. Farke says there are no new injuries to his squad ahead of the welcome of Watford.
“No big concerns. No-one picked up any injuries from the game. Sometimes this time of year players can pick up a cold. But nothing should stop us from playing our best possible line-up on the pitch,” he said.
“It can differ, we have to use the wings a bit more. It is important to stay flexible and be flexible, and not to be predictable. I’m not a friend of changing too much,” Farke said during Monday’s press conference.
Which Leeds players could do with a rest on Tuesday night?
The obvious one is Brenden Aaronson. The USA star played 93 minutes for his country in the early hours of Wednesday morning last week, before playing 68 minutes against Sheffield United on Friday night.
Then, Junior Firpo could also require a break having done some travelling to the Dominican Republic in the October break. Perhaps it could hand Isaac Schmidt or Sam Byram a chance to start from the off.
Manor Solomon and Dan James are back from injuries and Farke may be tempted to use them from the start on Tuesday night, to hand a rest to Gnonto or Largie Ramazani. It is unlikely to change much.
