Daniel Farke and Leeds United will be delighted after discovering Jaka Bijol’s hidden strength

Jaka Bijol is set to be an absolute warrior at Leeds United next season in the Premier League.

When a transfer pans out perfectly at Leeds, there is nothing better, and it seems as though the 49ers will get that feeling with Bijol.

The £15m arrival of the 6’3 Slovenian has been greatly welcomed by the fanbase, and Daniel Farke has a stalwart in his ranks.

However, with brilliant deals come repercussions, as Pascal Struijk could leave with Bijol’s signing.

That’s a real possibility, but it might be something that works out, taking into account the 26-year-old’s hidden strength.

Leeds United will be thrilled at Jaka Bijol’s hidden strength

The Udinese hierarchy clearly valued him as a key asset, and to poach him off the Italian side for just over £10m is unbelievable business.

Bijol has been dubbed ‘imperious’ as the Slovenian is no doubt going to be a nightmare to face in the Premier League.

The Whites managed to convince Bijol over the likes of AC Milan, and the strength that comes with him would make him fit for any team.

Udinese Sporting Director Gokhan Inler has spoken to the broadcast of Swedish TV channel TV12 on Bijol’s sale, and although it’s frustrating they lost their star man, he gives insight which will really please Farke.

“I think he deserves it, because a year ago there was a lot of talk about him,” Inler said.

“The coach and I really wanted him to stay, but that’s football. I wish him the best. He’s already done well this year, and he’s also grown as a leader. He’s a good guy, and he’ll also stop by to say hello before starting his new adventure.”

Bijol joins a team of leaders in Leeds as Premier League safety gets boost

Leadership is exactly what Farke will want to pride his side on next campaign, and adding the Slovenian to his ranks will only increase this factor.

The likes of Joe Rodon and Ethan Ampadu are already taking centre stage as the main figures who speak out in the dressing room, and Bijol will contribute to this from the get-go.

It’s an exciting signing in more ways than one, but this leadership trait is something that can help Leeds remain in the Premier League, rather than having inexperienced players in the big moments.

Bijol’s ‘desire’ has always been the Premier League, and next season can’t come soon enough for Whites fans.
