Coventry City shouldn’t really have too many complaints after Leeds United dismantled the Sky Blues on Wednesday night.
It was seen to be lightwork for the Whites who didn’t face much of a challenge at all against Coventry, as Frank Lampard was mocked by Leeds fans.
Despite many claiming that the quiet transfer window from Leeds would be their downfall, there were certainly no signs of that happening anytime soon.
It seems to be that Leeds are feeling comfortable after the result which left the Coventry players unhappy, to say the least.
One of Lampard’s men lost his head completely at referee, Dean Whitestone, late on in the game.

Coventry City star’s ruthless comment to the referee during Leeds United win
It was a night of frustration for all associated with Coventry.
That seemed to boil over just before the full-time whistle, as one Coventry star made his feelings clear to Whitestone.
Journalist, Joe Donnohue, overheard Joel Latibeaudiere comment on the performance of the referee and it wasn’t a glowing review.
During the stoppage of Daniel Farke making substitutions in the 86th minute, Latibeaudiere lost it completely, telling referee, Whitestone: “You are so bad at your job.”
Whitestone was lenient to both sides in Leeds’ 2-0 win against Coventry
Despite the frustration, Lampard praised Leeds for the win but it didn’t look like Latibeaudiere was in any mood for praise to be given.
The comment from the Coventry defender does come as a surprise with the referee being fairly equal when it came to giving fouls, as 11 fouls were given against Coventry to Leeds’ 10.
In fact, Leeds were denied a stonewall penalty on Brenden Aaronson, as Stuart Dallas saw the penalty decision as ‘ridiculous’
There shouldn’t really be any complaints from Coventry, who have to hold their hands up and say it wasn’t their night.
