Andrea Radrizzani has taken to Twitter for the third time since Jesse Marsch was sacked by the Leeds United board as the search for a new manager goes on – but the Italian owner has deleted the message, immediately after posting.
Leeds sacked Marsch on Monday after a loss to Nottingham Forest. In 20 league games under Marsch, Leeds picked up just four wins. Two since August. Michael Skubala, the U21 manager, came in and got a draw at Manchester United.
An impressive performance, fueled with more energy and vigour. The search for a manager behind the scenes goes on. Rayo Vallecano have blocked a move for Andoni Iraola. The Independent say a move for Arne Slot has been made.
The Feyenoord gaffer has even spoken about links – saying he will open any offer from Leeds. The Leeds owner has already taken to Twitter twice. The first on Tuesday, talking about “white smoke” that evening, or Wednesday morning.
When that timescale elapsed, Radrizzani replied to another Leeds fan – telling supporters that the club needed more time. Now, he took to Twitter on Thursday morning. He says interviews are ongoing and is “praying”. It is now deleted.

Little surprise, Radrizzani has deleted his latest post. To say he is “praying” smacks of desperation at a time when the club are in a relegation battle. Not a good thing to hear as a Leeds fan – or say, as a club’s owner. We need a new boss.
Where do we go from here? Iraola is not coming, Ange Postecoglou will not leave Celtic, Slot is top of the league with Feyenoord. Carlos Corberan signed a new West Brom deal. When do the board consider a manager out of work?
Marcelo Gallardo, Ralph Hasenhuttl and Mauricio Pochettino have all been linked. There have also been reports that Michael Skubala could look after the team until the summer – but that is a mistake. Leeds must get a new manager.
