49ers have privately promised to never repeat one thing Andrea Radrizzani did at Leeds United

There are set to be major changes taking place, and this transfer window is the perfect place to start.

It’s been made clear by the Leeds owners that this is a long-term project, with the eventual hope that Leeds get back in Europe.

This is what the Whites have been lacking with past owners who have spent irresponsibly and have seen no results.

One owner who did this was Andrea Radrizzani, as the Italian had a nightmare tenure at Elland Road.

Radrizzani regrets not signing Premier League players, which is the aim for the 49ers, as the hierarchy have abolished another mistake the previous owner made.

49ers won’t repeat Andrea Radrizzani’s mistake at Leeds United

The improvement around the club is clear to see as the future in store for Leeds looks bright.

It’s been claimed by LeedsUnited.News‘ Football Finance Expert, Adam Williams, that Leeds could match Newcastle United’s spending in years to come.

This shows the path Paraag Marathe hopes to put the Whites on, as many different ideas are being presented.

One that will certainly see a change has been reported by The Athletic, and fans will be relieved by the outcome.

Sources have insisted that clauses such as players being able to leave on loan after being signed during their three seasons back in the Premier League will never be used again, after Radrizzani was the one who put these in place.

It’s claimed that if a target is anxious about joining a promoted side with the risk of a Championship return, they will be reassured using the recent examples of Kalvin Phillips and Raphinha, who both were allowed to sign for Manchester City and Barcelona respectively.

One Leeds player could’ve made a name for himself if it wasn’t for clause

It’s clear that the clauses that were added were a silly decision, to say the least.

To instead look to gain profit after relegation was the way to go, and it helped Daniel Farke rebuild the squad.

This is positive news, but had the clause not been added, things could’ve been so much different for Max Wober.

Wober arrived from RB Salzburg with promise, but the Austrian decided to use his clause to go on loan to Borussia Mönchengladbach, where he impressed.

He could’ve instead shown this promise at Leeds, and had the clause not existed, he could still be firmly a part of Farke’s plans.

Now, Wober is set to be sold, but thankfully, the Whites won’t have another situation like this ever again.
