Nadiem Amiri’s move from Bayer Leverkusen to Leeds United is now ‘imminent’.
That is according to Kicker, who report Amiri has ‘promised’ to Daniel Farke he will make the move to Elland Road with a full agreement now in place.
Despite Leeds’ interest only having been reported by Fabrizio Romano on Wednesday, this feels like a saga which has dragged on forever given the number of twists and turns.

It was reported on Thursday morning by Florian Plettenberg that Amiri had turned down the chance to move to Leeds, before hours later a dramatic U-turn was made.
As per Phil Hay, Leeds have agreed a £5 million fee with Leverkusen for Amiri, though as of last night, was still in Germany.
Amiri move to Leeds now ‘imminent’
Leverkusen boss Xabi Alonso then added more fuel to the fire earlier this afternoon by saying Amiri is set to be in the squad for their clash with Borussia Monchengladbach.
It is unclear as to whether that is still the case following on from this latest update from Kicker, who also suggest it wouldn’t be a surprise if there was another twist to come yet.

Leeds are keen to get Amiri through the door as soon as possible with Farke viewing him as the number 10 he needs in his squad.
That said, this feels like a transfer that you can’t get excited about until pen has officially been put to paper based on what has happened so far.
Should he make the move, he would become Leeds’ sixth signing of the summer after Ethan Ampadu, Karl Darlow, Sam Byram, Joe Rodon and Joel Piroe.
