It was not the most convincing of wins for Leeds United against Swansea City, but Daniel Farke’s side got the job done in the end in Wales.

Leeds had to come from a goal down and needed to score in injury time to beat Swansea 4-3 away from home at the Swansea.com Stadium in the Championship on Sunday.

Manor Solomon, on loan from Tottenham Hotspur, scored two goals for Leeds. Wilfried Gnonto found the winner in injury time.

Leeds United fans react to Daniel James’s performance vs Swansea City

Solomon did well for Farke’s team, but another Leeds player who had a very good game was Daniel James.

Leeds head coach Farke included James in the starting lineup against Swansea. James was in action for Wales during the international break. He started on the right wing for Leeds in a 4-2-3-1 formation.

The 27-year-old winger provided the assist for the first and fourth Leeds goal, and, as you can see below, many fans of the West Yorkshire club were hugely impressed with the £25 million star.

Daniel James’s game in numbers

James is one of the best and most important players for Leeds, and against Swansea on Sunday, he showed why he is going to be a big player for the Whites.

The Leeds winger took four shots of which one was on target. He played two key passes and took 25 touches of the ball.

James had a pass accuracy of 78.6%, made one tackle, and put in three tackles against the Swans.

Leeds are now at the top of the Championship table, level on points with Sunderland and Sheffield United, who are second and third respectively.
