As just a few days remain in the summer transfer market, Leeds United are looking to strengthen their ranks by adding Gustavo Hamer to their side.
The Whites have already sealed the signings of Joe Rodon, Joe Rothwell, Jayden Bogle and Largie Ramazani so far.
Daniel Farke is still on the hunt for much more though, should Leeds manage to make a push for promotion from the Championship back to the Premier League.
The task is a big one, given the losses of Archie Gray, Crysencio Summerville and Georginio Rutter over the past few months.
With the attacking talent leaving Elland Road, there is a need to replace it and Gustavo Hamer could be the fix.

Hamer was born on June 24th, 1997 in Itajai, Brazil, which makes him 27 years old at the time of writing – approaching the peak of his career.
The Sheffield United star is approximately 1.69 metres tall, or roughly five feet and seven inches tall.

Hamer is a midfielder who is capable of playing several different roles for his team in the middle of the park.
While he has often been utilised as an attacking midfield prospect, the Brazilian-born star is also capable of playing in a deeper-lying role.

The football star made a move to the Netherlands as a child, which granted him citizenship there as well.

Hamer started his footballing career in the Netherlands, coming through the youth ranks at Feyenoord before he switched to PEC Zwolle.
From there, Coventry eyed a deal and brought him to the Championship, where he was able to shine for three years.
He then made the move to Sheffield United in 2023 for a fee worth up to £15million – where he has played ever since.

According to Capology, Hamer currently makes £30,000-per-week, which is a salary of £1.56million over the year.
The 27-year-old’s current deal with the Blades runs until 2027.
Gustavo Hamer to Leeds United transfer saga
Late in the transfer window, it was revealed that Leeds had made a late offer for Gustavo Hamer, in the hopes of landing a blockbuster transfer.
The bid was claimed to be in the region of £13million, though Sheffield United had rejected that offer rather quickly.
Reports had claimed that Leeds already agreed personal terms with Hamer, which could help speed up the process.
While the initial offer was rejected, it was later revealed that Sheffield United would be willing to let Hamer leave for £20million.
It remains to be seen if The Whites will make a late charge for the midfielder before the transfer window closes.
