Valencia have changed their mind on signing Largie Ramazani permanently from Leeds United after his loan spell.
After falling down the pecking order under Daniel Farke last year, Ramazani spent the 2025-26 season on loan at Valencia, making 31 appearances across all competitions for them.
While the 25-year-old had a slow start to his life in Spain, he returned to form in January, scoring six goals in the following 12 games.
Therefore, there had been suggestions that Valencia are open to the possibility of signing Ramazani permanently from Leeds United this summer, despite being against buying any of their loan players.

Ramazani upset Valencia coaches and teammates as shock details emerge
However, according to Diario AS, the La Liga club have now ‘slammed the door shut’ on the Belgium Under-21s international returning to Mestalla.
The Spanish newspaper reported that Valencia have changed their mind on signing Ramazani after being unimpressed by his attitude in the final weeks of the season.
It is worth noting that the Leeds United loanee lost his place in Carlos Corberan’s starting eleven in the final four league games of the season, despite starting the previous 11 matches.
It has emerged that his on-field attitude in Valencia’s 2-0 defeat against Atletico Madrid earlier in May was the ‘last straw’ for his coaches and teammates.
Ramazani is said to have failed to carry out the tactical tasks assigned to him that day, leaving Corberan and Co. frustrated.

This led to Valencia coaches issuing a warning to the Belgian, while some senior players in the squad reprimanded him.
Things went from bad to worse after Ramazani posted a picture of himself playing golf in the days after the match.
Valencia had held talks with Leeds United over buying the attacker, but have now put those plans on hold, although they might revisit them later.

Ramazani cost Leeds United millions
Ramazani appears to have cost himself a promising transfer to Valencia with his attitude.
This also comes as a huge blow to Leeds United, who could have pocketed an eight-figure fee from his sale this summer.
Norwich City have also been credited with an interest in signing Ramazani ahead of next season, and the Whites will hope that they are still keen.
Nevertheless, this is a huge sign that the Elland Road outfit must cash in on Ramazani this window.
