An exiled Leeds United player could be on the move this summer, with a La Liga club prepared to offer him an escape route.

With Daniel Farke‘s side having secured their Premier League status, attention is now turning to which players will form part of the squad going forward and which will move on.

For one player in particular, the summer could bring a significant career decision, and a return to familiar surroundings may be on the cards, albeit with conditions attached.

Valencia could sign Largie Ramazani

According to Spanish radio station Tribuna Deportiva, Valencia are open to the possibility of signing Largie Ramazani on a permanent basis this summer.

The 25-year-old spent the 2025-26 season on loan at the La Liga club, bagging six goals and two assists in 31 appearances across all competitions.

While Valencia had four players on loan this season, Ramazani and Unai Nunez are the only players they are willing to consider signing permanently.

However, the Spanish club will only make a move for the Leeds United outcast if the ‘financial terms are favourable’ for the club.

Valencia are prepared to make an exception for Ramazani as they bid adieu to their loan players, but the numbers must stack up.

For Leeds United, the situation presents a straightforward opportunity to raise funds from a player who does not appear to be in Farke’s plans, and offloading his wages would free up budget for more pressing recruitment priorities.

Norwich also in the picture as Leeds United decision looms

Valencia are not alone in their interest, as Norwich City, preparing for another Championship campaign, are also said to be monitoring Ramazani’s situation.

This gives Leeds United options and potentially creates a competitive dynamic that could drive up any fee received.

However, it appears Valencia will not be drawn into any bidding war for Ramazani, as they are seemingly eyeing a cut-price deal.

Ramazani has talent, that much has never been in doubt, but with Leeds United now a Premier League club and the squad being reshaped accordingly, the winger finding a permanent home away from Elland Road this summer appears the most likely outcome for all parties.

Whether that home is in La Liga or the Championship may ultimately come down to one thing – Valencia’s finances, and whether they can make the numbers work.
