Largie Ramazani has endured a tricky six months since leaving Leeds United for a season-long loan with La Liga side Valencia, and new reports suggest Ramazani will be forced to endure more.
Bought for £10m from Almeria in the summer of 2024, 24-year-old Ramazani arrived with plenty of hype and to be fair to the Belgian, there were times last season that saw him show supporters that potential.
Which player would you be happy for Leeds to sell in January to fund their transfer business? Let us know in the comments… 🤔💰
The likes of Joel Piroe and Willy Gnonto are struggling to force their way into Farke's plans.
He had a hand in nine goals for Leeds, scoring seven and laying on two more assists in 31 appearances. But injury, Manor Solomon and ultimately, Daniel Farke hampered Ramazani’s progress at Elland Road.
If he was struggling to start at Leeds in the Championship, promotion meant Ramazani was always likely to leave with Leeds in the Premier League. Ramazani joined Valencia, but things have not gone to plan.
Largie Ramazani left in limbo as Valencia loan details revealed
Since joining Valencia, the former Man United academy product has managed just nine appearances for Carlos Corberan’s men. No goals, one assist. Once again, Ramazani has had to contend with injuries.

Reports emerged before the January window opened that Ramazani was expected to see his Valencia loan cut short. Now, Tribuna Deportiva say Valencia are trying to find a way to end Ramazani’s loan stay.
However, Ramazani has been left in an awkward position. Valencia don’t want him, yet a recall clause has not been included in his loan deal. Leeds pushed for the exclusion of a permanent option in the summer.
Jack Harrison is a target for Valencia and in the latest report, it is claimed that Corberan wants a reunion with one of Marcelo Bielsa’s old players in Harrison as a replacement for Ramazani if he does indeed go.
What Robbie Evans said about Largie Ramazani in the summer
There is a player in Ramazani, but the winger will feel hard done by over the last couple of years. The wide man has ultimately been left hamstrung by injuries; a lack of rhythm. He needs to enjoy football again.
Leeds not only lack a recall clause for Ramazani, but Valencia don’t have a permanent option. It suggests neither club wants him at this stage of the season. But there is a silver lining for Ramazani if he does exit.
Largie Ramazani doesn’t have any part to play for Leeds this season – Discuss 🤔
He could return this month…
Luckily, Ramazani has not played for Leeds this season. He was on the bench against Everton before his move to Valencia. FIFA dictates a player can only play for two clubs over the course of the same season.
It means that if Ramazani does leave Valencia this month, he has the chance to join another club. Farke is not Ramazani’s biggest fan and the chances are, if he does return to Elland Road, he goes on loan again.
