Leeds United are on the hunt for new signings this week as The Whites look set to complete a move for another defender, while a new midfielder and a new goalkeeper are next on the list.
So far, Leeds have brought in three new signings in the form of Sebastiaan Bornauw, Jaka Bijol, and Lukas Nmecha. Leeds have waved goodbye to Josuha Guilavogui, Max Wober, and Junior Firpo permanently.
Loanees Manor Solomon and Joe Rothwell have also gone, with the latter joining Rangers permanently. It means Leeds are now two players down on last season’s senior playing squad, but signings are expected.
Below are five signings Leeds could end up making this week, including one of two goalkeepers, a left-back, and two potential midfield additions:

Five new signings Leeds United could make this week
Gabriel Gudmundsson (Lille)
Gudmundsson is the one who is expected to happen this week. The Sweden defender is said to have arrived in England this week ahead of a move to Elland Road, with Leeds set to pay Lille a fee of £8.6m.
Nothing has emerged since Graham Smyth’s update, but it would come as no surprise to see Leeds confirm a deal in the next 24 or 48 hours. Gudmundsson has been Leeds’ first choice to replace Firpo.
Anton Stach (Hoffenheim)
All four signings – Gudmundsson included – are 26 and 5ft 11 or above. Bijol, Bornauw, and Nmecha are 6ft 1 or above, and all four have either been in the final 12 months of their deal or their deal has expired.
Stach fits the bill, then. Tall at 6ft 4in, 26, and in the last year of his Hoffenheim deal, Leeds are keen on the Germany star. Stach is ‘considering’ a move to Leeds, with a fee between £13m and £17m required.

Vanja Milinkovic-Savic (Torino)
A goalkeeper looks likely to be a priority for Leeds after the arrival of Gudmundsson, with the defence now pretty much sorted. Deals to sign Nick Pope and Djordje Petrovic now seem pretty unlikely.
Leeds have moved on quickly. Adam Underwood has opened talks to sign Torino’s Vanja Milinkovic-Savic, who stands at a gigantic 6ft 8in. He now seems to be the one Leeds are pursuing to replace Illan Meslier.
Lucas Perri (Lyon)
If it isn’t going to be Milinkovic-Savic, then the chances are it will be Lyon’s Lucas Perri. A former Crystal Palace loanee, Perri is a target for Leeds, though much depends on Lyon’s appeal against relegation.
Reports on Monday morning state that Perri is set for a £20m move to the Premier League. Whether that is Leeds, it is unclear. Perri has also been touted with a possible move to Sunderland, who want Petrovic.

El Hadji Malick Diouf (Slavia Prague)
When England faced Senegal at the City Ground last month, many Leeds fans were watching because of Habib Diarra after the club’s initial £22m bid for him. But of course, Diarra has since joined Sunderland.
However, El Hadji Malick Diouf caught the eye of Leeds fans. Now, Leeds are keen on Diouf but face much competition from other English clubs with West Ham in talks, after an initial £17.25m bid was rejected.
