Leeds United have signed three players in Sebastian Bornauw, Jaka Bijol, and Lukas Nmecha, but a fourth summer addition is imminent.
Daniel Farke’s Leeds United side are back for pre-season training this week, but there remains plenty of work to be done in the meantime for the 49ers and co.
Gabriel Gudmundsson is set to be the next through the door should the final aspects of a transfer come to a conclusion early this week.
It’s been reported for some time now that Leeds want Lille’s Swedish left-back Gudmundsson. It was also previously reported that Gudmundsson could cost Leeds as little as £8 million.

Gabriel Gudmundsson fee agreed between Leeds and Lille
Recently, Gudmundsson gave his verdict on a move to Leeds this summer. Then, our sources confirmed to us last week that a deal between Leeds and Gudmundsson was accelerating.
Leeds then agreed personal terms with Gudmundsson, as we first revealed. However, there were still other aspects to iron out, including a final fee.
The 26-year-old is in the final year of his contract with the Ligue 1 outfit, who were hoping to push Leeds higher than €10 million and closer to €15 million.
Graham Smyth reported things were on track and Leeds are set to beat Fenerbahce to Gudmundsson’s signature.
However, it seems as though Leeds will wrap up a deal at closer to €10 million (£8.6 million), with Le petit Lillois reporting an “exit clause” is part of his Lille contract.
He is now set for the move pending a medical and the last details being finalised. Gudmundsson would become summer signing number four for the Whites.

Gabriel Gudmundsson is a risk-taker and ball-carrier
The Yorkshire Evening Post’s Joe Donnohue has described Gudmundsson as a ‘risk-taker’ of a full-back. Having operated as a winger and wing-back early in his career, he now plays more of a natural full-back role.
That said, his versatility has also seen Gudmundsson get minutes as a centre-back for his national team. Donnohue said: “The player can be characterised as a risk-taker with ball-progressing intent.
“Whilst not the most secure in possession, what Gudmundsson offers in athletic terms chimes with the sorts of players Leeds are known to be targeting this summer as they bid to remain in the top flight next season.”
As he has aged, Leeds target Gudmundsson’s profile has developed and he has become a better defender and player overall. He looks like being a sensible alternative to Junior Firpo. His ball-carrying is also excellent, per recent reports.
