Leeds United fans will be praying for some gems to be uncovered this transfer window.

That seems to be the plan from the 49ers’ view of things, with £100m set to be spent.

The budget is already being put to good use with the signing of Jaka Bijol, as his £15m move is an astute piece of business.

It’s a sensible signing, but deals will have to be balanced out as Mateo Joseph’s sale could give Leeds £42.5m due to PSR rules.

Well, the Leeds owners will have to balance out the books, especially if they sign a new player who has appeared on their radar, and he’s certainly welcomed with glowing reviews.

Leeds United fans all agree on signing midfielder Oscar Gloukh

Leeds can use their links with RedBull effectively this summer, as there was a hint previously that Jurgen Klopp could be involved with transfers.

This looks unlikely this summer, but it doesn’t mean the Whites can’t utilise the possibility of signing from fellow RedBull clubs.

Remarkably, this could come to be a reality earlier than expected, with Leeds interested in RedBull Salzburg’s Oscar Gloukh.

The 21-year-old playmaker has had interest from the likes of Man United, but Leeds could maybe have the advantage due to their links.

After hearing the news about Gloukh signing, the Whites faithful can’t get enough of the prospect playing at Elland Road.

@Army_Dad6880 said: “That would be a quality signing.”

@jwh1982 explained: “Looks impressive and good scoring record too. If so, this should be a loan, these are the kind of signings we should use to our benefit with redbull links.”

“To be fair he looks half decent,” @coombesbryan said

@Jamieblufc thinks he would be perfect, saying: “Please, please, please be true. proper wonderkid.”

@ta_mino18 said: “Very talented.”

“please!!!,” @TekkyWhites exclaimed.

How Gloukh compares with Leeds’ Brenden Aaronson

The 21-year-old playmaker looks very promising and has come up with some big goals over in Austria with Salzburg.

What Farke is missing is the creativity of a number ten, which is something Brenden Aaronson seriously struggled with last campaign.

When you pit the two against one another, it’s clear who comes out the winner, with Gloukh also having age and potential on his side.

Whether the deal comes to fruition or not, it’s clear that the number ten spot needs resolving, even though Aaronson is impressing on international duty.

Looking into RedBull clubs would be a smart way of going about business, and it still brings promise of more links like this coming to the surface again.
