West Ham are closing in on a deal to sign Crysencio Summerville from Leeds United but the sales might not stop there, with a newly-promoted side eyeing another Elland Road winger.
The 49ers have been busy this summer, but more in terms of bringing in cash. They have already sold six players on a permanent basis with Summerville set to take the lump of money generated to about £85m.
Summerville is set for a medical today as Leeds wave goodbye to the 22-year-old, with Leeds and West Ham in agreement over an initial £25m fee plus add-ons for Summerville who will sign a five-year deal.
He will be the club’s seventh permanent sale this summer. Sales of Archie Gray and Glen Kamara have raked in nearly £50m, while Charlie Cresswell, Diego Llorente, Marc Roca and Kris Klaesson have gone.

After Summerville, newly-promoted side want another Leeds star
Summerville’s exit leaves Leeds with just two recognised wingers in Wilfried Gnonto and Dan James. The return of Brenden Aaronson helps, though he is naturally a no.10 despite playing out wide in pre-season.
Jaidon Anthony and Ian Poveda have already left Elland Road this summer. Leeds need wingers and they may need to sign more than one or two, as Gnonto attracts interest from new Serie A clubs this month.
Everton are unlikely to move for Gnonto after signing Jesper Lindstrom, but Milan Live say that Genoa and newly-promoted Italian giants Parma are keen on a move to bring Gnonto back to his home nation.

Does Summerville exit mean Wilfried Gnonto will leave Leeds?
From a financial point of view, Leeds were already in a strong position before the sale of Summerville and that will be further improved now. It means that if Gnonto is to go, his £25m price tag will have to be met.
But what is also important to note, is that Summerville and Gnonto are incredibly close. They are said to live together, and arrive at training together. If one goes, it is easy to imagine the other will want to go.
Reports say that a sale of Summerville does not mean Leeds will keep Gnonto, even if they are financially stronger. But, Leeds are planning for the sale of both players and certainly, will have to replace Gnonto.
