Crysencio Summerville will be a West Ham player before the week is out as The Championship’s Player of the Season is set to leave Leeds United and sign a long-term deal.
The 22-year-old looks to be finally on his way after West Ham intensified their earlier links to sign the star from Leeds. A player that had a hand in 31 goals in all competitions for the Yorkshire outfit last season.
The pocket-sized attacker has been linked with the majority of Premier League clubs following his super form last term. The likes of Liverpool, Chelsea, Bournemouth, Fulham, Newcastle and plenty were touted.
But now it seems West Ham are closing in on a move after Fabrizio Romano initially reported that the Hammers had agreed personal terms with the former Feyenoord talent, with talks with Leeds ongoing.

When Summerville will undergo West Ham medical after Leeds
Now, numerous reports are stating that West Ham have agreed a fee with Leeds to sign Summerville and a deal is moving with speed. Leeds had wanted around £40m to sell the Dutch attacker in the next month.
But, Ben Jacobs has reported on his Instagram that West Ham and Leeds agreed a ‘fixed’ fee of £25m for the Leeds no.10. The winger’s move will sell also see the Hammers pay add-ons, a deal until June 2029.
Sky Sports reported Dharmesh Sheth delivers a further update, taking to X to inform fans of both clubs that a medical will take place in the next 24 hours and will certainly be completed by Thursday evening.
He said: “West Ham have agreed a deal with Leeds for the signing of Crysencio Summerville. Medical in next 24 hours. All being well, Summerville will fly out to the USA to join squad on the pre-season tour.”
Why Summerville is brilliant for Profit & Sustainability Rules
The reason why Leeds had to give in and sell Archie Gray was largely because the £40m fee received for his signature was pure profit. It meant that Leeds could chuck £40m straight into the coffers to use.
Summerville is not far off. Bought from Feyenoord for a bargain fee of £1.3m, Leeds are set to rake in 20 times that figure which again puts The 49ers and Leeds in an excellent position in obeying PSR rules.
