There is positivity emanating from Elland Road once again after a difficult few weeks culminated in a brilliant 3-1 win for Leeds United at Wolves on Saturday afternoon.
Positivity was coursing through veins after beating Everton. However, a 5-0 loss to Arsenal, a defeat to Sheffield Wednesday in the Cup, and the failure to sign attackers contributed to a lowering of the mood.
It was made even worse when Gabi Gudmundsson headed into his own net in injury time at Fulham. The fanbase was concerned, having only scored one goal in four Premier League games before Wolves.
However, a 3-1 win at Molineux saw Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Anton Stach, and Noah Okafor all score their first goals for Leeds. The first time that three players scored their first goal for Leeds in the same game.

Three big clubs wanted Dominic Calvert-Lewin in the summer
Calvert-Lewin has earned huge praise since the win over Wolves, with Anton Stach even suggesting that Thomas Tuchel could take a look at the striker with the 2026 World Cup coming into view next summer.
His first goal for Leeds, improved fitness and the belief that he could return to his old self. Jon Newsome thinks Calvert-Lewin can be a £50m or £60m-rated player if he remains fit and keeps scoring goals.
Calvert-Lewin has played a big part in Leeds’ mood recovering, with the striker claiming Leeds put the ‘rumours’ over a lack of goal threat to bed at Wolves. Little surprise, some big clubs wanted Calvert-Lewin.

Reports say Calvert-Lewin rejected an £18m deal to join Fenerbahce in the summer. Now, The iPaper says Newcastle United, Manchester United, and AC Milan all held talks to sign Calvert-Lewin on a free transfer.
The details of Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s Leeds United contract
What may have tempted Calvert-Lewin to ignore the likes of Man United, Newcastle, Milan, and even Turkish side Fenerbahce – who had Jose Mourinho at the helm, at the time – was Leeds’ belief in him.
More so, the length of the contract that Leeds tabled. Given his injury history, clubs were wary of doing a deal for Calvert-Lewin as a long-term signing. But Leeds have handed Calvert-Lewin a three-year deal.
He showed why he is worth it on Saturday, showing all of his Premier League nous to direct a looping cross past Jose Sa. This is a man Leeds fans can hang their hat on, even if he is earning £100,000 a week.
