Leeds United transfer news and rumours, including updates on Abdoulaye Doucoure, Max Wober and Callum Wilson.

The summer transfer window is edging closer and speculation surrounding Leeds United is only growing by the day.

It appears Leeds are planning to spend big in the summer after the club gained an extra cash injection to help improve Daniel Farke’s squad for the return to the Premier League.

Here are all the latest rumours.

Everton have confirmed that Abdoulaye Doucoure will leave the club this summer upon the expiration of his contract.

David Moyes remained tight-lipped on Doucoure’s contract following the final men’s game at Goodison Park on Sunday, but he will be departing Merseyside.

That opens the door for Leeds United to sign Doucoure on a free transfer and the Whites are reportedly battling Roma for the all-action Premier League midfield veteran.

Leeds will likely be selling players this summer as well as buying them, with Max Wober one name set to depart.

A series of injuries limited the defender to just a handful of games last season and Leeds may look to recoup at least some of the £10m they spent on him in 2023.

Leeds Live reports that Leeds have decided £5m would be a ‘suitable’ price for Wober to be sold for this summer.

Leeds are looking for more firepower in the summer and have been linked with a few strikers on free transfers, like Jamie Vardy.

Newcastle United’s Callum Wilson is another, with the England international’s contract currently set to expire at St. James’ Park.

Wilson’s future has not yet been confirmed, though, with there remaining a chance he could stay with the Magpies.

However, The Athletic reports that it’s becoming increasingly unlikely that Newcastle will extend Wilson’s contract by a further year, even though they could do thanks to a clause in his deal.

Should he depart, Leeds would have the chance to sign a striker with 88 Premier League goals to his name for nothing.
