Leeds goalkeeper Illan Meslier likely to move to Turkey this summer

Illan Meslier is set to leave after seven seasons at Elland Road as Leeds are reportedly offering Meslier to other clubs and an exit edges closer.

There is a situation where Leeds retain Meslier but news of interest has ramped up of late. RC Strasbourg are one side keen on Meslier this summer.

Meslier is now in talks with Fenerbahce and Graeme Bailey believes Turkey is the most likely destination for the 25-year-old in the current transfer window.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin emerges as Leeds United target

Despite a goalkeeper and playmaker still being top priorities, Leeds appear to be looking to sign a new striker first.

Leeds will sign another number-nine after Nmecha and Everton’s Dominic Calvert-Lewin has held Leeds talks this summer. The 28-year-old is impressive at his best and Marcelo Bielsa once deemed Calvert-Lewin as dangerous.

Leeds target Habib Diarra has interest from Atletico Madrid

Diarra could be an excellent addition, with the Strasbourg captain linked to Leeds for weeks to add further depth and quality to their engine room.

It was even deemed that Diarra joining Leeds was ‘imminent’ at one stage, with Liam Rosenior describing Diarra as ‘magnificent’ as interest mounts in the midfielder.

Whatever happens with the future of the 21-year-old, Diarra is free to leave Strasbourg this summer. However, the latest twist is that La Liga giants Atletico Madrid are now interested in Diarra.
