Larry Nance Jr has been on the most vocal of Leeds United’s shareholders since San Francisco 49ers Enterprises’ takeover of the club.
Nance Jr is frequently found tweeting and posting across his social media platforms after Leeds matches, and he has been at it again today after news emerged on Kylian Mbappe’s future.
After much speculation, it has been reported by numerous sources including David Ornstein that Mbappe has communicated his decision to leave PSG in the summer.
Mbappe is out of contract in Paris at the end of the season and rumours have been rife as to whether he will finally decide to move on this summer, and it is now expected to be finalised shortly.
And Nance Jr has wasted no time on Twitter after hearing the news, by sending a hilarious message to Mbappe on Twitter about the possibility of him coming to Leeds. Jokingly, he wrote: “All Leeds aren’t we? @KMbappe,” followed by the eyes and laughing face emoji.
Nance Jr sends hilarious Mbappe Leeds message
Of course, it goes without saying that Nance Jr is obviously joking but his social media activity genuinely shows how much he cares about the club.
Nance Jr has really immersed himself into the culture of the club in his first few months on the board, interacting with supporters across social media, making the long trip across the pond to watch Leeds in action back in August, and also conducting interviews on Leeds-based podcasts.

He revealed back in September that his favourite player is Liam Cooper, but is also in awe of Archie Gray for how he has seamlessly slotted into the first team at just 17.
With that said, do not expect Mbappe to be donning the white shirt of Leeds anytime soon. It is the white of Real Madrid that is looking increasingly likely.
If Leeds do get promoted, though, it will be interesting to see what sort of fund 49ers make available for Daniel Farke to spend.
