Leeds United have landed in the United States ahead of pre-season games against Wrexham, Liverpool and Sunderland over the next fortnight – but that has not stopped the rumour mill from turning.
So far this summer, Leeds United have signed two players. Two coups, signing Harry Wilson on a free and spending £34m on Tarik Muharemovic. The Bosnian defender becomes Leeds’ second-biggest transfer.
But more needs to be done. The club continues to push for an array of midfielders, an ambitious deal for Julian Brandt, and are scouring the market for a new goalkeeper. But today, it is more about exits.

Max Wober leaves Leeds on a free transfer
It has been a disastrous three years since Max Wober joined Leeds. The Austrian defender was one of a handful of players who joined Leeds under Jesse Marsch – with Marsch signing all of his old players.
Leeds were relegated six months into his spell, and he left on loan for his second season on the books. Injuries have since hampered Wober after his stint at Werder Bremen, and now, he has been released.

Leeds have officially parted ways with the defender.
The Whites confirmed the news, that Wober has come to a mutual agreement to cancel his deal early at Elland Road. Reports in Germany claim Wober is about to sign for Schalke after they secured promotion
Shea Charles saga comes to an end after third bid
Ah, Shea Charles. Leeds fans have been begging for the club to give up in pursuit of the Northern Ireland star, with Southampton clearly valuing their midfielder way above his actual potential and quality.
Leeds made an initial offer, and backed it up with a bid of £23m plus add-ons. A third bid has been made for the Northern Ireland international, who understandably is keen on a move to the Premier League.
Especially after Southampton’s play-off madness. But after Leeds saw that third bid rejected, Graham Smyth reports that Leeds are no longer pursuing the former Manchester City star. Got there in the end.
Valencia still want Largie Ramazani after Leeds decision
Leeds named their 30-man squad to go to America, and there were seven notable absentees. Wober was one of those, and now it is clear why. Mateo Joseph is doing rehab, and Noah Okafor has been given rest.
That leaves Jack Harrison, Joe Gelhardt, Largie Ramazani and Sam Chambers. The latter may get a chance down the line after a string of injuries, but Ramazani’s absence quite clearly explains Leeds’ stance.
His form in La Liga might have convinced some supporters he could still do a job. But he’s not travelling with Leeds, and TribunaVCF reports that Carlos Corberan’s side remain interested in signing Ramazani.
Lucas Perri agrees Torino terms
Leeds have already lost Karl Darlow and Illan Meslier this summer, but they could also lose Lucas Perri. The Brazilian endured a difficult first 12 months at Leeds, but he did redeem himself in the FA Cup.

With Darlow gone, Perri is first choice again. Only Alex Cairns, Darryl Ombang and Rory Mahady sit behind him. Leeds have been linked with plenty of goalkeepers, including Zion Suzuki and James Trafford.
Despite that, Perri could leave, with Torino linked. Now, a report from TMW says that Perri has agreed personal terms, suggesting a possible permanent exit, but are waiting for Leeds to sign a replacement.
