Leeds United are on the lookout for a new forward this summer, with the latest reports claiming an offer has been submitted for one long-standing transfer target.
It comes as the attacking third looks set for some potential changes, with Daniel Farke looking to build a squad capable of promotion back to the Premier League.
While the futures of Crysencio Summerville and Wilfried Gnonto remain uncertain, it’s clear that more firepower is on the cards.
Recent reports have stated that Leeds have submitted an offer to sign Gabriel Sara from Norwich City, with the attacking midfielder bagging double figures for goals and assists in the Championship last season.
Beyond the Brazilian, Farke could also be on the lookout for a versatile frontman who is capable of playing on either flank.
The latest name to be linked with Leeds in that capacity is a long-standing transfer target: Ryan Kent.

Leeds United make Ryan Kent transfer ‘offer’
A player that has often been linked with a switch to Elland Road, but hasn’t made it yet, is former Liverpool and Rangers winger Ryan Kent.
The forward, who is capable of playing on either flank or centre-forward, is currently at Turkish side Fenerbahce.
The 27-year-old is playing under Jose Mourinho, who has already handed him minutes in the Champions League qualifiers with victories over Swiss outfit FC Lugano.
However, despite those appearances, Kent could be set for an exit this summer as Turkish news outlet HaberEkspres claims that Leeds have already made an offer for the winger.
The report states that The Whites have submitted a bid worth €3million (£2.5million) to Fenerbahce and talks have been held.
It remains to be seen whether that bid will be knocked back or not, but it continues the long-standing history between the two parties.
Leeds have been linked with a move for Kent for the past few seasons, with the latest reports coming in January.

Should Leeds United finally sign Ryan Kent?
With plenty of history between Leeds and Kent when it comes to transfer rumours, is it finally time for the winger to join the Yorkshire outfit?
The 27-year-old is entering the peak years of his career, and his homegrown status will ensure no issue with adding him to the squad and its profile.
His versatility is a major bonus, while his quality to still play at the top tier in Europe suggests a switch to the Championship should be no problem.
If an offer around the £2.5million mark were to be accepted, it could prove to be an absolute bargain for Leeds.
Former Rangers boss Giovanni van Bronckhorst made it clear what to expect from the forward when he said in 2022: “With Ryan, I speak a lot with him about his position on the pitch and that he needs to keep improving his scoring ability and to get in the right positions to use his speed because his speed is incredible. When to use his speed, in what specific moments.”
With the threat already possessed by the forwards in the Leeds squad, adding someone like Kent could only bring them up another level.
