Leeds United fans will have excitement building for the Premier League season, but it’s who they strengthen with in the window that will stand out.

It’s set to be a whirlwind summer with plenty of ups and downs around Elland Road.

Despite an excellent campaign in the Championship, Daniel Farke’s squad needs strengthening, and four priority positions will be the first point of call.

The hope is that transfers are done quickly and efficiently, as the 49ers are taking a new transfer approach.

Leeds will copy the likes of Liverpool and Man City’s success, and one signing being mooted could certainly be the formula they need.

The Brazilian comes with brilliance after three unstoppable seasons with Feyenoord, and with a £34m price tag to the 24-year-old’s name, it could work for the club.

Leeds could sign four players for £30m, and although he doesn’t fit into their priority positions, fans are desperate for his signature.

Paixao would be a nightmare for Premier League defenders at Leeds

It’s always good for a team struggling to have a player who possesses abilities that maybe should be higher up the ladder.

We’ve seen this at Wolves last season with Matheus Cunha, Southampton in Leeds target Matheus Fernandes, and now the Whites can land their own version.

But what’s unique about the Brazilian is not only his incredible involvement in goals, it’s his tricky feet, which could be a useful tool in games that are in dire need of a spark.

Farke and the hierarchy should listen to the fans, as although it’s a dent in their supposed £150m budget, it seems fully worth it.
