Leeds United are about to splash £5 million on signing number four of the summer with a medical set to take place this morning.
The Whites have so far made three new additions since the start of the window, with Joe Rodon, Alex Cairns and Joe Rothwell all making the switch to Elland Road.
Rodon and Rothwell were both involved in Leeds’ first pre-season friendly of the summer at Harrogate Town on Friday, with the latter showing what he can offer this term.
Cairns, meanwhile, has returned to Leeds nine years after leaving to replace Kristoffer Klaesson as Daniel Farke‘s third choice goalkeeper.
However, plenty more signings are going to be needed before the end of the window, which was reflected in how light Leeds’ bench was last night.

Jayden Bogle closes in on Leeds move
Leeds have earmarked four priority positions that require strengthening this summer and it appears as though they are about to tick one off the list.
Right-back is arguably the most pressing of those, as Leeds have already lost Archie Gray, Connor Roberts and Jamie Shackleton from their set of options last season.
And according to Daily Telegraph journalist John Percy, Jayden Bogle is set to undergo a medical at Leeds today ahead of sealing a move from Sheffield United.
It is said that a fee of around £5 million has been agreed between the two clubs, which represents excellent value considering his pedigree at this level.
The Blades had initially been demanding £7 million for Bogle and after Leeds’ initial two offers of £3 million were turned down, they have managed to reach a compromise and meet in the middle.
Providing all goes to plan with the medical, Bogle is set to be on the plane to Germany for Leeds’ upcoming pre-season tour.
Bogle signing a real statement for Leeds
Bringing in a player of his calibre from a potential promotion rival is a clear statement of intent from Leeds.
Given how worried some supporters have been on social media regarding the lack of action, this is exactly the sort of deal that was needed.
It fills a position Leeds are desperately short in, and there aren’t many better in this league than Bogle.
Hopefully he is the first of many to come before Leeds’ opening game of the season against Portsmouth next month.
