Leeds United are set to announce the signing of Manor Solomon but that might not be the only new attacker who arrives before the deadline.
Solomon’s loan switch to Elland Road had looked in doubt over the last 48 hours despite him travelling to Yorkshire on Saturday to undergo a medical.
However, any issues that had arisen have seemingly been smoothed over and confirmation of his straight loan from Tottenham could happen imminently.
Solomon will be signing number six of the summer for Leeds and becomes the second attacking player to sign in less than a week after Largie Ramazani.
Leeds had been in the market to replace both Crysencio Summerville and Georginio Rutter but surprisingly, Solomon might not be the end of the attacking business.

Leeds now considering Roland Sallai move
Based on what Daniel Farke has said publicly, the only positions which need strengthening now are full-back and central midfield.
However, Solomon’s arrival does not really fill the void left by Rutter, as he is again a winger who is right-footed, but prefers playing on the left.
In order to replace Rutter, it would be wise to bring in someone who is left-footed and more comfortable playing as a 10 or off the right.
And according to the Athletic, Leeds are now considering a move for Freiburg’s Roland Sallai, who is a player who would fit that bill perfectly.
News of Leeds’ interest in Sallai broke last week but this latest report came after David Ornstein broke the story Solomon would be announced today.
Sallai has just 12 months remaining on his deal at Freiburg and Leeds had looked at a move earlier in the summer, but were told no.
However, his departure from the Bundesliga side has become a more ‘tangible possibility’ in these closing stages of the window and Leeds could move.
Freiburg need a sale amid Leeds interest in Sallai
Another factor which could swing in Leeds’ favour is that Freiburg are in the market for a new attacker, but must sell one before they can move.
The Bundesliga side are keen on signing Hertha BSC winger Fabian Reese but must get rid of someone first, with a likely candidate being Sallai.
Sallai would represent a significant coup for Leeds considering his international pedigree with Hungary, which has seen him score 13 goals in 52 caps.
He would also add some much needed experience to a very young frontline at Leeds, something which Farke is known to want.
