Leeds United are becoming increasingly active in the transfer market with just three days left before it slams shut on Friday night, and The Whites are ‘pushing hard’ to sign a Bundesliga player.
Leeds are expected to announce the signing of Manor Solomon on loan from Tottenham as their sixth addition of the summer window, after the £10m deal for Largie Ramazani was completed last week.
Daniel Farke wanted four players after the exit of Georginio Rutter and he looks to have secured two of those. Now, attention is expected to be placed on signing a new full-back and a goalscoring midfielder.
But, there are other players attracting interest from Leeds. West Ham’s Danny Ings has emerged as a shock Leeds target given the amount of strikers Leeds have, while Roland Sallai could also be purchased.

A move for Sallai comes as a bit of a surprise given Solomon is expected to sign after Ramazani, leaving Leeds with four wide players alongside Dan James and Wilfried Gnonto but, Sallai remains of interest.
Following reports that Leeds were looking to do a deal for the 52-time Hungary star after he had entered the last year of his Freiburg deal, reporter Sacha Tavolieri says Sallai is keen and Leeds are ‘pushing hard’.

Leeds target Sallai has been compared to Sancho in the past
A player constantly among the goals and assists in the top tier of German football, Farke is clearly a fan having watched him closely while Gladbach boss. Sallai even scored four Europa League goals last term.
The Bundesliga’s website even compared to Old Trafford’s forgotten man Jadon Sancho in 2021, when the former Dortmund and England star was in his pomp. They say that thew two share similar characteristics.
“Sallai is a modern wide player in the mould of Jadon Sancho, only too happy to give opposition players the swerve with his quick feet and acceleration,” the Bundesliga site said about Sallai.
“Like the former Dortmund and current England flier, Sallai knows how to make and take chances – and has shown himself to be a handy inverted winger and second striker for Freiburg and Hungary.
