Julian Brandt continues to be linked with a shock move to Leeds United after his contract at Borussia Dortmund expired, and now it appears Leeds have officially tabled an offer.
Dortmund and Brandt have chosen not to renew terms, and the 30-year-old is now available on a free this summer. Leeds have already signed a playmaker in Harry Wilson, but it appears the Whites remain keen.

After 48 caps for Germany, Brandt is one of the biggest names in German football after having a hand in 221 goals in 522 games for both Dortmund and Wolfsburg over the years. Now, he wants a new country.
Brandt’s father seems to be conducting talks between clubs, with Marc Roca and Junior Firpo’s Real Betis said to have held talks with the German’s old man. This week, Brandt senior was also at Elland Road.

Despite interest in Brandt and amid the reports that his father had made the trip to Yorkshire to discuss a possible move to Leeds this summer, no official offer had been reported to sign the German playmaker.
But now, that has changed. According to transfer expert Nicolo Schira, Leeds have now officially tabled an offer to Brandt. The reporter claims that Leeds have offered Brandt a three-year deal until June 2029.

Arguably, it was Aaronson’s best season. But with the World Cup now over, Aaronson returns to Thorp Arch with his future in doubt. Wilson has already arrived, pushing Aaronson down the pecking order.
Not only that, but Aaronson has entered the final 12 months of his Leeds contract – having penned a five-year deal back in 2027 after his £25m move from Salzburg. Brandt would be the final nail in the coffin.
Leeds have struggled to add a no.10 for years, but if they are able to bring in both Brandt and Wilson, it will finally be the end of Aaronson in a Leeds shirt. That, or Aaronson faces a season warming the bench.
