Jaka Bijol is officially a Leeds United player and his first words as one are bound to get his new supporters excited.

After days of waiting, Leeds United finally confirmed the signing of Jaka Bijol on Monday in an £18.75m transfer from Serie A side Udinese.

Bijol has agreed a five-year deal with the club, which will keep him at Elland Road until 2030.

The Slovenian centre-back becomes Leeds’ second signing of the transfer window as Daniel Farke prepares his squad for a gruelling return to the Premier League.

He follows Lukas Nmecha, who was signed on a free transfer after being released by Wolfsburg.

Bijol has now given his first official interview as a Leeds player and promised to give his absolute all to the club.
