Leeds United could have their first Premier League signing in the crosshairs, following their promotion on Easter Monday.

Leeds United are returning to the Premier League in dramatic fashion, after Daniel Farke’s side thumped Stoke City 6-0 before then watching Sheffield United lose 2-1 away at Burnley.

Now it’s a title race between Leeds United and Burnley whilst the Blades are subject to the play-offs after a run of four defeats in five for Chris Wilder’s side, which comes to the delight of many Whites fans.

Wilder has congratulated Leeds United on their promotion and it comes after a rocky few weeks with Leeds United dropping all the way down to 3rd place of the table at one point, before winning four-straight games to secure promotion.

Farke insisted that Leeds United would 100% be promoted this season and he was right. Now, he and the 49ers can get to work on the club’s upcoming summer transfer window with Leeds United already having a summer transfer plan, knowing behind the scenes that there’s a lot of work to be done.

Leeds United handed huge Manor Solomon transfer boost

Manor Solomon played a key role in the run-in and indeed the season: he scored goals in recent games against Preston and Oxford United and grabbed two assists against Stoke City. In total the 25-year-old has scored nine and assisted 12 more in 37 Championship games for Leeds United this season.

It’s no surprise that Leeds United have been linked with a permanent deal for Solomon throughout the season. And now with promotion secured, GIVEMESPORT report that Solomon now ‘wants to complete a permanent move to Leeds’ and that parent club Spurs will let him go for a fee of £15million.

The same report adds that ‘Leeds are firmly in pole position’ to sign the Israeli international, and that the winger has ‘a strong belief that he will thrive if an agreement can be reached due to loving the role handed to him by Farke and the environment behind the scenes’.

Price tag confusion with Manor Solomon, possible Harry Gray bargaining chip

Archie Gray’s 16-year-old brother Harry Gray made his Championship debut in the 6-0 win over Stoke City. Soon after it was rumoured that Spurs are interested in signing Gray ahead of the summer although Leeds aren’t keen to offload the teen just yet.

Although it makes for an interesting potential bargaining chip where Solomon is concerned, especially because there seems to be a bit of debate about how much the North Londoners actually want for the player.

Before GIVEMESPORT’s above report, it was claimed that Spurs want up to £20million for Solomon this summer, and with Leeds United needing a pretty widespread overhaul of the squad this summer, £20million on one player will prove a lot.
