Harry Wilson’s future is in the balance with Leeds United just one of a handful of clubs trying to prise him away from Fulham, while the Cottagers themselves have offered him a new deal.
Wilson, 29, has just enjoyed his best season at senior level with 17 goals and assists in the Premier League for Fulham. But his contract is due to expire at the end of the month, and a decision is now required.
Would you sign Harry Wilson next summer, when his contract ends? 🪄
He's still out of contract.
Of course, Wilson came within an inch of joining Leeds United last summer. The Wales international was all set to sign on the dotted line in the final hours of the window, only for Fulham to pull the plug.
His form in a Fulham shirt has attracted clubs that might even compete in the Champions League next season. The likes of Aston Villa and Benfica – who hired his Fulham boss Marco Silva – have been linked.
Harry Wilson makes decision on Fulham contract offer
Now, crunch time. Wilson has to start making some decisions, and the first one is whether he signs a new deal at Fulham or looks for pastures new. According to a report from TeamTalk, that decision is made.

TeamTalk’s Leeds reporter James Marshment claims sources have informed him that Wilson has rejected a new contract at Fulham, which comes as good news for Leeds in their pursuit to finally land the attacker.
Marshment reported on X that Leeds are also in a good position to strike a deal for Wilson: “Leeds Utd holding extensive talks with the representatives of Harry Wilson over a move to Elland Road.
“Sources confirm the star has rejected an extension at Fulham and is currently weighing up his next career move ahead of a free transfer. LUFC well placed to seal a deal,” he summarised on Tuesday.

Reports say Leeds are in talks to land Wilson, and actually, Wilson’s representatives are just as hopeful as Leeds are in getting a deal done for the experienced Wales ace. It feels like Leeds have a real chance.
Wilson is one of three players Leeds are being strongly linked with at the moment. There is also a deal on the table for Southampton’s Shea Charles, while the Whites remain in talks to sign Julian Brandt on a free.
Harry Wilson’s Premier League stats compared to Leeds stars
Since Daniel Farke arrived in 2023, a top-quality no.10 signing has eluded him. In three years, only one has been signed and the less said about Facundo Buonanotte, the better. Brenden Aaronson remains.

Indeed, America’s World Cup star remains the only natural no.10 in the squad, with Anton Stach and Ao Tanaka considered 8’s. This summer, Leeds are looking to change that with freebies Wilson and Brandt.
If Leeds fans needed any convincing, compare his numbers with Leeds’ players last season. Only Stach beats Wilson once when comparing goals, assists, XG, XA, chances and passes into the opponent’s box.
Wilson would be a monumental signing for Leeds. Just entering his peak, available on a free transfer and able to supply Leeds with genuine moments of magic, Leeds would be pulling off a sensational coup.
