Leeds United have been involved in a busy summer transfer window, but the action isn’t expected to end there though.

The Whites are building for another season in the Championship after narrowly missing out on a return to the Premier League.

With that missed opportunity at promotion, there has naturally been some change within the squad as teams swarm for Leeds stars.

Archie Gray was one of the first to leave as Tottenham paid £40million to land the generational academy graduate.

The youngster may not be the only one set to leave though as Crysencio Summerville has been linked with a move to West Ham while Wilfried Gnonto could be set for a move to Everton.

Daniel Farke has given his views on any transfer exits in the squad this summer though, with a very clear stance.

Daniel Farke on Leeds transfer exits

With plenty of rumours surrounding transfer exits this summer, Leeds boss Farke has spoken about the club’s stance on deals.

Speaking to Leeds Live about whether he knew of any exits coming soon, Farke said: “No, because I don’t want to be involved too much in any negotiations or any offers.

“Our stance is clear: we want to keep our best players and want to have them for us.

“I would be worried if no club would be interested in our players because then we would have a problem, it would mean we don’t attract any interest.

“It’s actually a good sign, yes, makes life sometimes a bit difficult because we still have to pay for some sins in the past and we have to stick to the financial fair play rules.”

It shows that Leeds are trying everything in their power to keep their key players, however with the season closing in, there may be uncertainty over the team that plays during the campaign.

Leeds United transfer dilemma

The main dilemma for Leeds is finding the right balance of keeping players that are important while also not leaving any sale too late.

Those stars could play an important part at Elland Road this season, so the Whites shouldn’t be pressured into selling.

However, if they do hold on for too long to players who are angling to leave, then a late sale may ruin any other transfer plans.

Those moves may well make it tough to bring in proper replacements for another tough season ahead.

It remains to be seen exactly what Leeds will do, but it’s a difficult game of stick or twist ahead of them.
