Leeds United are expected to complete the signing of Largie Ramazani from Almeria for a fee of £10m with a deal set to be confirmed on Thursday, and details of his contract have emerged.
Ramazani, 23, is said to have arrived in England last night ahead of undergoing a medical at Thorp Arch ahead of a move to Elland Road. It sees Leeds finally make their move in replacing Crysencio Summerville.
Fans had become frustrated at a lack of incoming signings, with Jayden Bogle the last arrival at Leeds a month ago. Since then, Summerville and Georginio Rutter have joined Archie Gray in leaving the club.
But that has now changed in the signing of Belgium U21 winger Ramazani. Leeds have struck a £10m deal plus a 15% sell-on clause for Ramazani and Leeds could confirm the signing of Ramazani on Thursday.

Ramazani set to sign a four-year deal at Leeds ahead of move
The former Manchester United and Charlton Athletic academy star has impressed in the four years he has spent at Almeria. Joining on a free in 2020, Ramazani has since had a hand in 31 goals in 122 matches.
The winger scored three goals and laid on five assists in 29 games for Almeria in La Liga last season and that has caught the eye at Elland Road. Ramazani’s contract expires next summer with Almeria relegated.
Belgian journalist Sacha Tavolieri has now delivered an update on Ramazani’s contract, saying the wide man is due to pen a contract until the summer of 2028. A four-year deal at Elland Road this summer.
He said: “Belgian winger’s now on the plane in order to join Leeds and complete his move with medical tests scheduled in the next 24 hours. Contract ready until June 2028.”
What time Ramazani must be signed by to play on Friday
Leeds must register new signings by midday on Thursday. The pocket-sized Ramazani is expected to sign on Thursday but it is unclear if a deal will be completed by midday for Ramazani to play on Friday night.
Leeds are in action for the fourth time this season against Sheffield Wednesday, with Danny Rohl’s side struggling last time out against a Jack Clarke-inspired Sunderland and losing 4-0 at the Stadium of Light.
Even if Leeds did complete the signing of Ramazani by 12pm on Thursday, the chances of him getting any minutes at Hillsborough on Friday night is unlikely though he may be given a place on the sub’s bench.
