Leeds United are set to complete the signing of Largie Ramazani from Spanish side Almeria for a fee of £10m, with news breaking of the deal on Wednesday evening.
Fabrizio Romano broke the news as an exclusive on Wednesday night as Leeds finally make their move to replace the loss of Crysencio Summerville. Fans had become frustrated at the lack of incoming signings.
It comes after losing key players like Summerville, Archie Gray, Glen Kamara and then Georginio Rutter on Monday. Brighton activated a £40m release clause in the Frenchman’s contract to lure the attacker south.
Now, Leeds are finally reinvesting that money and £10m is about to be spent on the signing of Belgian winger Ramazani. Almeria’s no.10 has spent four years in Spain after leaving Manchester United in 2020.

Leeds could announce the signing of Ramazani on Thursday
Romano reports that Leeds will spend £10m on Belgium U21 star Ramazani, with add-ons included and a 15% sell-on clause. Ramazani had entered the final year of his contract after Almeria were relegated.
He had a hand in eight goals in 29 La Liga appearances last season while also picking up two red cards. Primarily a left-winger, Ramazani also appeared on the right for Almeria and as a striker last season.
Following Romano’s initial story, the Yorkshire Evening Post reported that Ramazani could be announced by Leeds as soon as Thursday. Some report state that Ramazani is already on a plane, set for Yorkshire.

Ramazani’s Manchester United stats in full ahead of Leeds move
The rivalry between the two sides remains but not to the point where a player can only play for one of the two teams. Dan James for example, joined Leeds from Manchester United back in the summer of 2021.
Signed from Charlton in 2021, Ramazani played 30 times for their U18 side and had a hand in 12 goals, scoring four. A step up to the U21’s though is where he starred, scoring 11 goals in 18 appearances.
It saw Ramazani play for Man United’s senior side in a 2-1 defeat to Astana under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer before moving to Almeria in 2020 on a free. Now, he returns to English football with Leeds United.
