Celtic, Rangers and half The Championship all want to sign £12m-rated Leeds United target

Leeds United are in the mix to sign a Premier League club’s attacking midfielder this summer but it turns out the competition in the player in question is enormous, from England and Scotland.

Daniel Farke has made it clear he would like three more signing at Elland Road before the deadline at the end of the month. The Leeds manager wants a new full-back, with three options covering two positions.

He also wants a replacement for Crysencio Summerville and certainly, to appease Leeds fans it must be a marquee signing. Norwich City’s Jonathan Rowe has been linked after scoring 12 Championship goals.

There is also a need for a midfielder after Glen Kamara and Archie Gray have left the club, and only Joe Rothwell arriving on loan. Farke wants a more goalscoring midfielder to go alongside Ethan Ampadu.

Liverpool teen Bobby Clark is an option for Leeds United

Leeds are among the clubs interested in a deal to sign 19-year-old Liverpool star Bobby Clark. The star broke into The Reds’ senior side last season and Clark is expected to be allowed to go out on loan.

The Liverpool Echo’s chief Liverpool writer Paul Gorst has said in an interview with Redmen TV that Clark is a target for Leeds. But the £12m-rated ace is also eyed by Celtic, Rangers and half the Championship.

“I don’t think Liverpool are actively looking at selling Bobby Clark. Celtic and Rangers are in the mix and obviously Salzburg, too. Almost half of the Championship are interested too, Leeds, Norwich, Derby.”

Clark is a good signing but Leeds need more experience

It make Rothwell a top addition and the former Southampton loanee has looked good in pre-season. With Clark, there is clear potential but if Leeds are to go up, The Whites need a player with know how.

Farke has already exclaimed how his leadership team is made up of players in their early twenties. The Whites’ starting XI is made up of players mostly between 20 and 25, Junior Firpo the only exemption.

Bringing in a player that knows how to play in the Championship and how to score goals from deep makes more sense than signing Clark. But on loan, Leeds could do a whole lot worse.
