After a busy week in the transfer market Leeds United can focus back on league action again as they host Hull City at Elland Road.
The Whites have completed three new signings this week in Manor Solomon, Ao Tanaka and Isaac Schmidt, though the latter was not done in time to be in the squad today.
Largie Ramazani is also set to be available for the first time since his move from UD Almeria, meaning Leeds’ squad could have a much stronger look to it.
Dan James is the only injury concern from last week’s win at Sheffield Wednesday after picking up a hamstring strain which will rule him out until after the international break.
Here is our predicted XI for the match:
Goalkeeper
On the back of consecutive clean sheets Illan Meslier, of course, starts in goal.
Defence
After a shambolic couple of matches against Portsmouth and Middlesbrough, Leeds’ back four have looked at their best in the last two.
Joe Rodon and Pascal Struijk were both formidable against West Brom and Sheffield Wednesday, meaning despite Max Wober’s return, they start at centre-back.
As mentioned, new signing Schmidt will provide more competition at full-back but was not signed in time to play. Jayden Bogle and Junior Firpo will continue as first choice anyway.
Midfield
A new attack-minded number eight has been top of Daniel Farke‘s wishlist for several weeks now and he finally got his man in Japan international Tanaka.
There is a chance he could be in the squad for the first time today but it is highly unlikely he is thrown straight in, meaning Ethan Ampadu and Ilia Gruev start in midfield.

Attack
James’ injury opens up the opportunity for one of Ramazani or Solomon to make a full debut at Elland Road, though Joel Piroe is also an option.
Having had a full week of training, Ramazani should be the man to get the nod alongside Brenden Aaronson and Wilfried Gnonto, just in behind Mateo Joseph.
